About the Gospel Friends
Gospel Friends Quartet is a group of friends who share a love of southern gospel music and a love for the Lord. They have traveled and shared their ministry throughout northeast Ohio and have made many new friends in Christ along the way.
We were all saddened with the unexpected loss of our long-time baritone, Jim Rudesill, but I'm sure that Jim would be exceedingly pleased with his replacement...his own grandson, Caleb Cantrell. Caleb has been a blessing to the group...and sure can sing! He is very excited for the opportunity and looks forward to sharing the gospel message with others through the southern gospel music that he loves. Current members of the Gospel Friends Quartet, Brad and Debbie Ashburn, Crystal Skelton, and Caleb Cantrell are enjoying the new direction that God is leading them.
Gospel Friends, once known as the Circle of Friends Quartet, formed back in 2002. Although some of the members have changed over the years, founding members Brad & Debbie still remain.
A major accomplishment of the Gospel Friends was the founding of the "Gospel Trail...Singin' on the Grounds." It was first established back in 2003 and continues to be alive and well today.
The Gospel Friends pray that through their music many will be uplifted, encouraged and find the joy and peace that faith brings.
